Short note on Facebook ads you need to have knowledge of.

In Facebook, To advertise your products or make your work made known to a large group of audience on Facebook, you need to have a Facebook page.
Marketing/Advertising your products on your timeline/wall might not give you the necessary satisfaction you want.
Create a Facebook page and fill in the necessary details required of your page. You can invite your friends and he/she might invite their friends to like the page. But I advice that you pay for Facebook ads since your friends' friends can also be your friends you've initially invited.
To advertise, click on 'Create Ad' ---> 'Get page likes'.
You can write a short note on what the page is all about/what you're advertising but you can't change the 'ad title' once it's done. The page name for the advertising platform can contain a maximum of 25 characters.

In addition to getting page likes, you can also boost your page post(promote it). This lets many people on Facebook see one particular post of your page on their news feed.

Note: Someone liking the post promoted not your page, you will be charged but you get lucky when s/he clicks on both post like and page like. Unfortunately it's not always like that because the chances are slim since he/she might think that on liking the post, he/she is liking the page. That is why I advice for beginners who don't have large audience/good number of page likes(200,000 and above)  not to promote their posts instead focusing on promoting their page.
Also, in post promotion you are entitled to choice of two cover photos. I advice that you upload attractive photos since it can make someone get drawn to the page.
